This policy applies to the Hold Anchor LLC website. It describes what information the site collects, how that information is used, and the choices available to you. Hold Anchor LLC designs and creates custom software solutions, and only takes on clients based in the United States.
Effective date: August 20, 2026
1. Collection of Your Information
The site collects personal information only when you use the Hold Anchor assistant, a chat where you describe your project one message at a time. What it collects is whatever you type into that conversation, which the assistant guides towards:
- Project details — what you want made and roughly how large it is, whether it is for business or personal use, whether you are based in the United States, your timeline, your budget and how you plan to take payment, and any links, references, or referral source you choose to share.
- Contact details — your first name, last name, an optional business name, and your email address.
Because the conversation is free-text, anything else you choose to type is collected too. The assistant does not ask for a phone number, a mailing address, or any card, bank, or financial-account numbers. The chat also carries one hidden field solely to catch automated spam, which collects nothing from you and a real visitor never sees or fills. The site's own code sets no identifiers, uses no cookies, and does not track your activity or record your browsing. Information that necessarily reaches the services behind the assistant when you use it or connect to the site is described in section 3.
2. Use of Your Information
Hold Anchor LLC uses the information you provide to respond to your inquiry and to assess and scope a possible project. When you finish the conversation, the email address you gave is used to send you an automatic acknowledgment that your inquiry was received. During the chat, what you type is also used to generate the assistant's replies, as described in section 3. If Hold Anchor is not taking new projects when you write, the same conversation places you on a waitlist instead: your intake answers are stored on Hold Anchor's own systems in the order received, and a copy is emailed to Hold Anchor's inbox, so Mary can reach out when a spot opens. The information is not sold, rented, or leased, and it is not used for marketing or advertising.
3. Sharing and Third-Party Services
Using the Hold Anchor assistant involves the following third-party services that receive what you type:
- Anthropic provides the AI model (Claude) that powers the assistant. To produce each reply, the conversation so far is sent to Anthropic's API. Under Anthropic's terms for its API, this content is not used to train its models. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
- Formspree delivers your finished inquiry to Hold Anchor's email. When the conversation is complete, your captured answers together with the full chat transcript are sent to Formspree, which emails them and filters spam. See Formspree's privacy policy.
- Microsoft, through Microsoft 365, handles Hold Anchor's email. It sends you the automatic acknowledgment, using the email address and first name you gave, and it holds the copy of your inquiry that is delivered to Hold Anchor's inbox. See Microsoft's privacy statement.
The Hold Anchor assistant runs on a small backend that Hold Anchor operates through its hosting provider, which receives each message and technical metadata such as your IP address as a normal part of handling the chat. That address is also used briefly to limit how many messages a single visitor can send, which helps block automated spam. The site serves its own fonts and makes no other third-party requests from your browser: no font CDN, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. Like every website, the site's pages are delivered by a hosting provider that keeps standard server access logs, which include visitors' IP addresses.
If you share a link to a reference website, the assistant may open that public page from Hold Anchor's server to capture a few images of it and its visible text, so it can describe what you pointed to. Those images and text become part of the conversation and are processed by Anthropic as described above. The page is fetched by Hold Anchor's server, not from your browser, and only public web addresses you provide are opened.
No other third parties receive your information.
4. Cookies and Tracking
The site sets no cookies and stores no data on your device, including no local storage or session storage. It uses no analytics and no tracking pixels.
5. Your Rights and Choices
You may request access to the information Hold Anchor LLC holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. To make any of these requests, email the address in the Contact section below.
6. Retention
Intake inquiries are archived in Hold Anchor's email inbox and kept there unless and until you ask for them to be deleted, at which point they are permanently deleted. Hold Anchor also keeps a brief record of your contact details and project summary on its own systems, so an inquiry is tracked and not lost; that record is deleted on request as well. No fixed retention period applies. A copy of each finished inquiry and its transcript is also held by Formspree, the delivery service, and retained under Formspree's own policy, and the conversation is processed by Anthropic under its policy; you can ask for the copy Hold Anchor holds to be deleted at any time. A waitlist entry is kept until a spot opens and Mary follows up, or until you ask to be removed; email the address in the Contact section to be taken off the waitlist.
7. Legal Disclosure
Hold Anchor LLC may disclose your information if required to do so by law, or where it reasonably believes disclosure is necessary to comply with legal process, to protect its legal rights, or to prevent harm or illegal activity.
8. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
